* An enzyme-washed treatment is an eco-friendly textile processing method in which natural enzymes are used to make the fabric softer, more supple, and easier to use. Instead of aggressive chemicals, biological enzymes are applied to break down specific fiber components—such as pectin or lignin in linen—without damaging the fabric itself. Unlike chemical washing processes, enzyme washing is biodegradable and less harmful to the environment.
